Situated at the start of the hike, this semi open air, ‘rustic with class’ camp is set at the edge of a pretty dam, where the energetic can canoe or raft, while the not-so-energetic can just ‘park off’ and enjoy the view!
Bottom’s Up sleeps 14 and has bunks with mattresses and pillows, hot showers and flush toilets, drinking water, and braai facilities, including grid and kettle to go on the fire – wood is available at each venue at nominal cost. This camp also boasts a fridge and an electrical power point.
Hikers need to bring their bedding and personal items, eating utensils, fire lighters and braai tongs.
