When staying at the ASSEGAAI TRAILS SELF-CATERING COTTAGES:                                             

  • Cottages are situated just a short distance from the wedding/function venue
  • Fully self-contained with all linen, towels, and equipped for self-catering
  • Fully equipped Én-suite bathrooms
  • Power is supplied by solar and gas
  • Each cottage has a braai area with grid.  Wood is available to purchase at each venue.
  • The nearest restaurant, shop or filling station is at Kenton-on-Sea  (30km)
  • Remember to pack comfortable walking shoes, tick repellent, and sun block.
  • Don’t forget your binoculars and camera

When staying at the ASSEGAAI  CENTRE:                                            

  • Situated at the wedding/function venue, it comprises 15 comfortable bedrooms
  • Sleeps 55 guests if all beds are occupied (some beds are bunks)
  • Guests need to bring their own bedding – pillows are provided. 
  • Bathrooms are shared – hand towels, hand soap and toilet rolls are  provided – guests need to bring personal towels and toiletries
  • There is a fully equipped self-catering kitchen – dishwashing liquid and towels provided
  • Several braai areas with grids.    Wood is available to purchase at each venue.

When staying at the ASSEGAAI TRAILS HIKING CAMPS:                                             

  • Both hiking camps are equipped with bunks, mattresses and pillows
  • Guests need to bring  sleeping bags, towels, toiletries, eating utensils and food
  • Drinking water is supplied at both camps
  • Bathrooms have warm showers and flush toilets with toilet rolls
  • Cooking is on the fire only – a grid and kettle are provided, but no cooking pots, firelighters or matches.   Wood is available to purchase at each venue.
  • Lighting is provided at each camp
  • The nearest restaurant, shop or filling station is at Kenton-on-Sea  (30km)
  • Remember to pack suitable walking shoes, tick repellent, and sun block.
